The firm that is now A. J. Vater & Co., Inc. was founded in 1928 by two brothers, Adam and Frank Vater. Their goal was to provide quality painting at a fair price. In the seven decades since that founding, the firm has grown, matured and been involved with significant new construction and renovation projects. Whether the job is the painting of a new correctional facility or the careful restoration of historic building finishes, the founding goal of quality work at a fair price is clearly evident.
